November Lists should be returned, if possible, before the beginning of November.
After completing your List, put it with your offering in an envelope marked 'November
List' and leave it on the Sacred Heart Altar, please.
SAINT
ANNE'S GUILD
There will be no meeting of Saint
Anne's Guild owing to the outing to Ayr Gaiety Theatre. The bus will leave
Stanley School at 7.00 pm proceeding via Glasgow Street.
PRESENTATION
TO FATHER WALLS
The
presentation to Father
Walls will take place this evening in the Parochial Hall at 7.15 pm. Those
who intend to be present are asked to be in their seats by 7.10 pm.
MARIAN
ASSOCIATION
The usual meeting of the Marian Association will take place on
Thursday at 8.00 pm in the Convent.
FOLK
NITE
There will be a Folk Nite next Sunday 27 October in the Parochial Hall
from 7.30 until 10.30 pm organised by the Marian Association. Anyone wishing to
be present may obtain tickets from any member of the Association or from Katrina
Brown, 72 Stanley Road. Tickets cost 2/6.
YOUTH
WEEKEND
A Youth Weekend will be held in Fatima House, Coodham from 29 November
to 1 December inclusive. This weekend is open to all the youth of the Parish.
If interested, please contact the Parish Retreat Promoter.
LOURDES
DANCE
A dance will be held in the Hotel Kilmeny on Friday 27 December from
8.00 pm to 1.00 am. The proceeds will go towards taking sick pilgrims to Lourdes.
A good attendance would be appreciated for such a worthy cause.
