APPOINTMENTS
This week, Bishop McGee made two appointments to vacancies in our Diocese created by the deaths of Canon Fischer and Father Manning of Galston. Father Michael Lynch of Kirkcudbright is coming here as Parish Priest. Father Kelly is leaving us and going to Muirkirk. These changes will take place on Friday 23 November.

COLLECTIONS
The special collection for the Association of the Propagation of the Faith made recently amounted to £570. 37 - many thanks. Last week's collection for Coodham Renovation Fund amounted to £584.49. The Passionist Order at Coodham have asked us to convey to you their appreciation and thanks.

IS THIS YOUR CHURCH
This week's meeting of Is This Your Church, in Saint Andrew's Academy on Wednesday at 7.30 pm will deal with 'The experience of those working within the Church to-day'. Representatives of organisations such as the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, Marriage Encounter, Charismatic Renewal, the Catholic Marriage Advisory Council and so on will speak briefly on their experiences.

DEATHS
Patrick Joseph (Joe) Long of 8 Beggs Terrace died on Monday 10 November.
Rose O'Neill, 26 Boydston Road died on Monday 10 November.
Daphne Long, 59 Stanley Road died on Wednesday 12 November.

LOURDES HOSPITALITÉ
The annual membership subscription for the Diocesan Branch of the Lourdes Hospitalité is now due. Subscriptions will be collected from members after Masses today. The collectors are:
      18.00 am Mass - H Sammons
      19.30 am Mass - M Reilly
      11.30 am Mass - W Mitchell
Anyone wishing to join the society, should contact any of the collectors.

SAINT ANNE'S GUILD
Saint Anne's Guild has a talk by Crime Prevention Officer on Tuesday after evening Mass.

SAINT ANDREW'S NIGHT DANCE
The Social Committee has organised a Saint Andrew's Night Dance for Saturday 29 November in the Civic Centre. There will be a licensed bar and snacks. Tickets, costing £2.00, are available from Committee members, or after all Masses, today.

200 CLUB
This week's 200 Club winners are M Cairns, 233 of Barony Court who wins £10, A McCabe, 40 of Glasgow Street who wins £25 and J McAloon, 201 of Rowanside Terrace who wins £200. Members are reminded that today is collection day.
