Last weekend's collection amounted to £758.85. We are grateful for your generous support of the Parish. Banker's Orders amount to an average of £4400 per month.

Have you thought of using a Bankers Order? It assists us with the safe handling of cash. Have you signed a Gift Aid Form? If you pay tax, then every £1 you give to the Parish is worth £1.28 to us. Would you consider remembering Saint Peter's in your will?

THREE TOWNS CHURCHES CRUISE
Due to some unforeseen work being carried out on the Waverley, the Charity Evening Cruise originally arranged for Wednesday 18 June will take place on Wednesday 30 July. Tickets already purchased will be valid for this new date. If this new date is not suitable, a full refund will be given.

BULLETIN AND WORSHIP SHEETS
Notices for inclusion in the Bulletin need to be here by Thursday of each week. After Mass, we would be grateful if you would return the worship sheets to the boxes for use at a later Mass.

SCOTTISH CATHOLIC INTERNATIONAL AID FUND (SCIAF) BOXES
Please continue to use SCIAF boxes throughout the year or make a box of your own. Please hand in any donations for forwarding to SCIAF for our poorest brothers and sisters.

SAINT PETER'S CHILDREN'S CENTRE
Afternoon places are available in Saint Peter's Nursery starting in August 2008. For more information and an application form, please contact Josephine Coulter.

CATHOLIC NEWSPAPERS
Each week, we have copies of the Scottish Catholic Observer and The Universe available for sale. They are informative on events happening in the Catholic world in Scotland and the rest of the world. Perhaps you could reserve your copy at the stall. This would ensure that we order enough and not too many.

HCPT THE PILGRIMAGE TRUST
Many thanks to all those who helped in any way to make the recent Pilgrimage Trust visit to Lourdes a great success. Photographs will be displayed in the porch over the next few weeks. Our first fundraising event for Easter 2009 will be our annual sponsored cycle round Cumbrae. Members of the group will be at all Masses next weekend if you would like to sponsor them or give a donation. For information, please contact Esther Couther.

THURSDAY CLUB TWENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
The
Thursday Club will celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary in the Parish Centre on Friday 13 June at 7.30 pm. Tickets cost £6 from Moira. There will be dancing, a buffet, the Von Crap Singers and other entertainment.

AN EVENING OF HEALING
An Evening of Healing, through the intercession of Our Lady of Reconciliation, will take place in Saint Winin's Church, Kilwinning on Monday 2 June. The service will be lead by Father Willie Brandon, SMA and consists of exposition, adoration and rosary. An opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation will also be provided.

SAINT ANNE'S GUILD BUS TRIP
The bus for
Saint Anne's Guild trip Moffat leaves Stanley Road at 12 noon via the usual route.

BLOOD TRANSFUSION SERVICE
If you can never find the time to give blood, here it is - Wednesday 4 June from 2.30 to 3.45 pm and 5.15 to 7.30 pm in the Civic Centre, Glasgow Street
, Ardrossan.

FRIENDS OF THE PLANTATION
Weather permitting, on Sunday 1 June from 2.00 to 4.00 pm, the Garnock Academy Jazz Band and Saint Matthew's Academy Concert Band will be performing at the first Memorial Concert for the late
John Dolan who was Honorary President of the Friends of the Plantation. Come along and enjoy an afternoon of great music with a selection of jazz and big band sounds that you can sing along to. Admission is free.

GALLOWAY MUSIC NETWORK
The Galloway Music Network is organising an event called 'Singing the Mass' to bring musicians and singers from parishes in the diocese together to share their musical gifts and to spend an afternoon preparing music for the Vigil Mass of the Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. It is hoped that the experience might encourage musicians and singers in their own parish ministry and also build up relationships and share good practice among musicians and singers form different parishes. Even if you just enjoy singing, you will also be very welcome. The event will take place on Saturday 7 June in the Church of Our Lady and Saint Cuthbert, 28 Dailly Road, Maybole and will begin with a light lunch at 1.00 pm and finish with the Parish Mass at 5.30 pm. SMITHSTONE HOUSE SUMMER FAYRE
Smithstone House Summer Fayre
takes place on Sunday 1 June from 2.00 to 4.00 pm. Enjoy an afternoon for all the family at Smithstone House, Kilwinning and grounds. Everyone is welcome.

IGNATIAN PRAYER GROUP
The Ignatian Prayer Group meets in the Parish Centre on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm, the second Tuesday at 7.30 pm and the last Tuesday at 2.00 pm.
