PRAY ONLINE WITH EASTER PODCASTS
People
and priests of the parish communities in the South Ayrshire part of our Diocese
have recorded a 'Thought for the Day' style reflection for each of the fifty days
of the Easter season, from Easter Sunday through to Pentecost Sunday. Each day’s
reflection lasts up to six minutes and includes a reading from the Mass of the
day followed by the reflection especially prepared by each contributor. There
is quiet music in the background to help reflection and prayer. The podcasts can
be downloaded on the days of Eastertide from www.EasterPodcasts.co.uk
and will become
available as the days of the Easter season pass. It is hoped that the podcasts
provide a focus for prayer during Eastertide and that they fulfil Christ’s command
to “Go out to the whole world and proclaim the Good News”.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY
We
are in need of more volunteers for the Children’s Liturgy for the coming August
session. As it takes a little time to gain disclosure, we need to think ahead.
Please consider becoming a volunteer, especially if your child is currently in
Primary 3 as they will be taking part in the Sacramental Preparation next year
or if your child will be joining our Pre-5 Liturgy Group in August. If you are
interested, please contact the Parish Office on 464063 or Annie Watt.
