OFFERTORY COLLECTION
Last weekend's Offertory collection amounted to £876.82. We are grateful for your generous support of the Parish. Banker's Orders amount to an average of £4000 per month.

BANKER'S ORDERS, GIFT AID AND WILLS
Have you thought of using a Bankers Order? It assists us with the safe handling of cash. Have you signed a Gift Aid Form? If you pay tax, then every £1 you give to the Parish is worth £1.28 to us. Would you consider remembering Saint Peter's in your will?

PARISH CENTRE COLLECTION
Last weekend's collection for the Parish Centre amounted to £330.59 - many thanks.

Book the caterers is by direct contact. Arrangements for providing a drink can be made with the caterers but the bar is not available.

PEREGRINATIO PRO CHRISTO - JOURNEYING FOR CHRIST
The Legion of Mary is proposing a week’s visit of a team of Legion members to the parish from 4 to 11 July. The team - all of them from Ireland - will work and pray with local members of the Legion in our parish - visiting homes, meeting with people, gathering for Mass, meals and so on. We need some help. The team will consist of a priest and ten lay members. They are expected to pay their own way with regard to bed and breakfast accommodation so we need some places for them to stay. I can accommodate the priest. I need to know this week! The team requires lunch and an evening meal in the Parish Centre. I need some groups - for example, a group of friends - who would provide a meal each evening for the Legion team. We can make a rota. Again, I need to know soon. We need help with a musical evening and with music for the Mass on the Friday evening. Everyone is welcome to the Mass and the social event. More information will be available as the planning develops.

AFRICAN CHILDREN’S CHOIR

The Smithstone House Summer Fayre takes place on Sunday 7 June from 2.00 to 4.00 pm. Enjoy an afternoon out for all the family at Smithstone House and Grounds, Kilwinning. Everyone is welcome.

ITALIAN NIGHT
The Italian Night was a complete sell-out and another is being planned. Very many thanks to all those who gave so much time and energy into making it such a successful evening. £1400 profit from the evening £1400 split evenly between the Twinning Association and the parish. This paid for the new dishwasher in the Parish Centre kitchen). It is planned to repeat the Italian Night as a St Andrew’s/Italian Night on Friday 27 November if the details can be finalised. Already more than half of the tickets are ordered. To pre-book, call the Parish Office.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY
We are in need of more volunteers for the Children’s Liturgy for the coming August session. As it takes a little time to gain disclosure, we need to think ahead. Please consider becoming a volunteer, especially if your child is currently in Primary 3 as they will be taking part in the Sacramental Preparation next year or if your child will be joining our Pre-5 Liturgy Group in August. If you are interested, please contact the Parish Office on 464063 or Annie Watt.
