aware of all those of other religions in our society and to respond to the
Second Vatican Council’s call that we extend the hand of friendship to everyone.
The year marks the forty-fifth anniversary of Nostra Aetate - the Council
Document calling for respect and reverence for people of all faiths.

Christmas to see if it is viable. Anyone interested in joining the Group or
who would like to know more details, please contact Harry Sammons or phone
01294 469006. Booking forms are available now.

LAY AUDITORS
The National Tribunal is in need of more volunteer lay auditors to interview
witnesses in marriage nullity cases. Suitable candidates for this task would
need to be practising Catholics in regular marriage situations with good interpersonal
skills. The auditors will need to transcribe in detail the answers given by
witnesses to specific questions prepared by the Tribunal. In due course, there
will be a few hours in-service training on the auditor’s role. If you are
interested, please contact Canon
Matt or the Parish Office on 464063 with your details.
COLLECTION ENVELOPES AND STANDING ORDER FORMS
We are due to order the new envelopes soon. If you don’t have envelopes and

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS - MISSION STATEMENT
The Catholic Church in Scotland is concerned with the lives, safety, wholeness
and well-being of each individual person within God's purpose for everyone.
It seeks to safeguard the welfare of people of all ages who are involved in
whatever capacity with
the Church and its organisations. As a Church community, we accept that it
is the responsibility of all of us, ordained, professed, paid and
voluntary members, to work together to prevent the physical, sexual, emotional
abuse or neglect of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
