SACRAMENT OF FORGIVENESS
The Sacrament of Forgiveness is available at any suitable time as well as
from 4.30 pm before the Vigil Mass on Saturday evenings.

COLLECTION
Last weekend's Offertory collection amounted to £745.15 - many thanks.
We are grateful for your generous support of the parish and the diocese to
which we pay a monthly levy of £1250.
PARISH CENTRE COLLECTION
Last weekend's collection for the Parish Centre amounted to £338.32

BANKER'S ORDERS
Have you thought of using a Bankers Order? It assists us with the safe handling
of cash. Banker's Orders for the Parish and Centre amount to an average of
£3800 per month. Forms are available.
COLLECTION ENVELOPES
New collection envelopes for 2012-13 are now available at the stall.
GIFT AID
Have you signed a Gift Aid Form? If you pay tax, then every £1 you give
to the Parish is worth £1.28 to us. Forms are available.

CHURCH
REPAIRS
We
have a lot of maintenance to take care of. We have any number of leaks and
the Church needs painting. Brown envelope donations of £150 bring the
total to £1509.50.
USED PRINTER CARTRIDGES AND OLD MOBILE PHONES
There is now a large green box in the foyer of the Parish Centre and a small
box at the stall where you can place all old printer cartridges and mobile
phones for us to recycle. Through recycling these we can raise some much needed
funds. Thanks.
HMS DASHER - THANKS
Thank you all those who most generously donated baking for the HMS
Dasher teas. Your help is most appreciated.
HILLHOUSE CARE - INNOCENTS
Any baby items, prams, cots, and so on or clothing for children from birth
to sixteen years old or any goods that can be sold in the charity shop would
be gratefully accepted. A box is available at the stall for small items and
toiletries for baby and mother. Please contact Frank or Josephine Coulter
or phone 602179 for more information or uplift of goods. Thank you.
SAINT MATTHEW’S ACADEMY PARENT COUNCIL
The Parent Council of Saint Matthew's Academy, Saltcoats requires a clerk
for its monthly meetings. The rate is £7.50 per hour and meeting, preparation
and writing-up time amount to four hours per month. Meeting are on a Monday
evening in the Academy. Full details are available from from Michael Sharkey

BROWNIES
The 1st Ardrossan Brownies are looking for new members. Girls aged between
seven and ten are welcome to join the group which meets in Stanley School
on Mondays from 6.00 to 7.30 pm. Please contact Maria Paterson on or phone

for new members. Girls aged between seven and ten are welcome to join the
group which meets in Saint Peter’s Parish Centre on Thursdays from 6.00 to

PAPAL BLESSINGS
Papal Blessings for a wedding,
wedding anniversary or a special birthday can be ordered at the stall. The
cost of the parchment and postage has gone up drastically. We now have to
ask £40 for the Blessing.
VISITORS
Are you visiting us for Mass? Please know that you are very welcome. During
the 10.00 am Mass there is a Children’s Liturgy provided for preschool children,
children in Primaries 1 to 3 and a Sacramental Programme for children in Primary
4. After the 10.00 am Mass, tea, coffee cakes and buns are available in the
Parish Centre. At all of our weekend Masses, we have a second collection for
our Parish Centre debt.
SUNDAY LUNCH FOR SENIOR PARISHIONERS
A Sunday Lunch for senior parishioners will be held on Sunday 22 April at
1.00 pm in the Parish Centre. It needs to be on a 'first come, first served'
basis and it is for senior parishioners and carer if required. Tickets are
now available to pick up at the stall or the Parish Office. They can be reserved
by phoning the Parish Office on 464063. We are glad provide this for our senior
citizens at no cost.
SACRAMENTS OF CONFIRMATION AND FIRST COMMUNION
We have chosen three Sundays this year because of the number of children being
presented for the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion. The dates
are Sundays 13, 20 and 27 May at the 10.00 am Mass.
LARGE PRINT MASS BOOKS
Mass Books in Polish are available from the stall. Sunday Readings in most
European languages can be printed from the parish website.
