SCOTTISH CATHOLIC INTERNATIONAL AID FUND (SCIAF) COLLECTION

amounted to £815.21 - many thanks.

SCOTTISH CATHOLIC INTERNATIONAL AID FUND (SCIAF)
The Fourth Sunday of Lent is when we have our annual collection for SCIAF for the poorest people in the world. Also, please use the 'wee box' during Lent.

CHURCH REPAIRS
The help you give for Church repairs by dropping in a white envelope from time to time is invaluable. The fund stands at £5604.50. We have a continuing task in keeping the Church wind and watertight.

BANKER'S ORDERS
Have you thought of using a Bankers Order? It assists us with the safe handling of cash. Banker's Orders for the Parish and Centre amount to an average of £3800 per month. Forms are available.

GIFT AID
Gift Aid is a vital source of income. All that is needed is that you pay tax. You simply declare that you give funds to the Church. We do the rest. Why not sign a form today? We get back an extra 25p for every £1 you give the Church in your weekly collection or by way of a donation. There is no need to cancel or renew it. We simply claim in the income we receive.

WILLS
Would you consider remembering Saint Peter's in your will?

POPE FRANCIS
Please pray for our new Holy Father, Francis I.

HYMN FOR THE POPE - FULL IN THE PANTING HEART OF ROME
Full in the panting heart of Rome beneath the apostleís crowning dome
From pilgrimsí lips that kiss the ground, breathes in all tongues one only sound
God bless our Pope, God bless our Pope, God bless our Pope, the great the good
The golden roof, the marble walls, the Vaticanís majestichalls
The note redouble till it fills, with echoes sweet the seven hills
God bless our Pope, God bless our Pope, God bless our Pope, the great the good
Then surging through each hallowed gate, where martyrs glory, in peace, await
It sweeps beyond the solemn plain, peals over Alps, across the main
God bless our Pope, God bless our Pope, God bless our Pope, the great the good
From torrid south to frozen north, that wave harmonious stretches forth
Yet strikes no chord more true to Romeís, than rings within our hearts and homes
God bless our Pope, God bless our Pope, God bless our Pope, the great the good
