FINANCES
Bankers Orders for the parish and Parish Centre amount to £3800 per
month. Every month, we pay a levy of £1450 to the Diocese. We are grateful
for your generous support in collections. If you can manage a little more
from time to time, it would be a great help. Have you thought of using a Bankers
Order? It assists us with the safe handling of cash. Banker's Orders for the
Parish and Centre amount to an average of £3800 per month. Forms are
available. Would you consider remembering Saint Peter's in your will?
OFFERTORY COLLECTION
Last weekend's Offertory collection amounted to £664.55 - many thanks.
MAINTENANCE
FUND COLLECTION
Last weekend's Maintenance Fund collection amounted to £244.66 - many
thanks.
GIFT AID
The Inland Revenue now requires us to use a new style of Gift
Aid form. These are available at the back of the Church and on the parish
website. If you pay tax, please complete the new form and return it to the
box provided. This allows us to provide the additional information required
on the Gift Aid claim. Gift Aid is a vital source of income. All that is needed
is that you pay tax. You simply declare that you give funds to the Church.
We do the rest. Why not sign a form today? We get back an extra 25p for every
£1 you give the Church in your weekly collection or by way of a donation.
There is no need to cancel or renew it. We simply claim in the income we receive.
COLLECTION ENVELOPES
New collection envelopes are now available at the stall. Please let us know
if you wish to switch to a standing order. Forms are available.
READERS
Next weekend's readers are Marade Griffin at 5.30
pm and Tom Reid at 10.30 am. Beginning
in January, we would like to have children from Primary 5 and above and young

name on the list available at the Stall at the back of the Church and a meeting
will be arranged in the coming weeks.

of Lourdes Parish, East Kilbride. His ordination will take place on Saturday
14 February 2015 in the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock at 11.00 am. None of our Churches
is big enough. We will try to organise a bus. We have been asked to give an
indication of how many places we might need so there is a list at the Stall.
This is not a bus list nor a firm booking list. It is just to have an indication
so that places can be reserved.
CHOIR FOR BISHOP-ELECT NOLAN'S ORDINATION
Singers are invited to join the Diocesan Choir for the Bishop-Elect's ordination.
Rehearsals are on Wednesday and some Sunday evenings from 7 January in the
Saint Margaret's Cathedral, Ayr. Please contact David Robinson on 07714 340854.
PARISH INTERNAL CHRISTMAS CARD
As in past years, there will be a Christmas Card for parishioners to send
greetings to friends and fellow-parishioners. All we ask is that you 'sign-up'
at the Stall with your name and greetings and give a donation to the Church
Maintenance Fund and to cover printing costs.
STALL
Memoriam Candles are now available at the Stall. There is also a lovely selection
to Christmas cards, calendars and gifts. The Stall is open before and after
