When Father Matt McManus became Parish Priest of the Church of Saint Peter in Chains on 29 November 2004, there was no presbytery because it had been badly damaged by fire on 2 July 2004. Father Matt lived in Seamill till July 2005 when he moved to Barrie Terrace, Ardrossan to live in the first house on the left of the photograph.
