Peter Reilly, front right, a relative of some of our parishioners, was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to the community of Saltcoats by the Lord Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran, John Duncan, front left. The people in the back row from the left are an Air Training Corps Lord Lieutenant's Cadet, Lord Lieutenant's Cadet Army Cadet Sergeant James Sawer, Bishop William Nolan, Provost of North Ayrshire Joan Sturgeon and Deputy Lord Lieutenant Evelyn McCann.
