Mass near Saint Ninian's Cave, Whithorn
28 August 2016

The Diocese of Galloway marks the founding of Christianity in Scotland by celebrating Mass annually at or near the Cave of Saint Ninian in Whithorn where the Saint landed about four hundred years after the birth of Christ.

The photograph shows principal celebrant Bishop Emeritus Maurice Taylor and several priests including former Saint Peter's parishioner, Father Stephen McGrattan at the left.
